To add a Custom Field to Reservations, tap on Manage > Custom Fields
Then tap the + icon
Complete the following fields in the New Custom Field Box:
Field | Description |
Name | Enter the label for the Custom Field |
Code | Enter an internal code, which will appear in two places: - on a CSV file when this data is exported - in an email template Please enter a code with no spaces and one which is unique amongst the Custom Fields in your accounts |
Object Type | Select an Object Type from the Object Type drop-down list. The Object Type is the object that the Custom Field relates to. It will be pre-selected as Customer, but to change, select Reservation from the list of options |
Data Type | Select the data type for the field from the following options: - Text - Long Text - Yes/No - Multiple Values - Number - Date |
History | Slide to green to record all changes made to the value entered in this field |
Customer Visible | Slide to green for this Field to be visible to the Customer. (Not applicable to all Object Types) |
Customer Editable | Slide to green for this Field to be editable by the Customer. (Not applicable to all Object Types) |
Default | Enter a value that you would like this field to be pre-filled with, or leave this section blank |
Multi Values | If you have selected 'Multiple' in the Data Type list, edit the value selections in the Values field. Please enter the values in a list, one underneath the other |
Tap SAVE
The new Custom Field will appear in the following areas:
Reservation window
The box that appears when you tap directly on a Reservation in the Bookings screen
Online Booking
When creating an Online Booking, this Field will appear in the 'Confirmation Details' section of the process
Please note, in order for this Field to appear during Online Booking, it must be set to Customer Visible and Customer Editable
