To add a Custom Field to Reservations, tap on Manage > Custom Fields
Then tap the + icon
Complete the following fields in the New Custom Field Box:
|Name||Enter the label for the Custom Field|
|Code||Enter an internal code, which will appear in two places: |
- on a CSV file when this data is exported
- in an email template
Please enter a code with no spaces and one which is unique amongst the Custom Fields in your accounts
|Object Type||Select an Object Type from the Object Type drop-down list. The Object Type is the object that the Custom Field relates to. It will be pre-selected as Customer, but to change, select Reservation from the list of options|
|Data Type||Select the data type for the field from the following options: |
- Long Text
- Multiple Values
|History||Slide to green to record all changes made to the value entered in this field|
|Customer Visible||Slide to green for this Field to be visible to the Customer. (Not applicable to all Object Types)|
|Customer Editable||Slide to green for this Field to be editable by the Customer. (Not applicable to all Object Types)|
|Default||Enter a value that you would like this field to be pre-filled with, or leave this section blank|
|Multi Values||If you have selected 'Multiple' in the Data Type list, edit the value selections in the Values field. Please enter the values in a list, one underneath the other|
The new Custom Field will appear in the following areas:
Reservation pop-up box
The box that appears when you tap directly on a Reservation in the Bookings screen
When creating an Online Booking, this Field will appear in the Confirmation Details section of the process
Please note: in order for this Field to appear during Online Booking, it must be set to Customer Visible and Customer Editable
