Sales Report Explained

The Sale****s Report contains all data relating to Sales in your account, for a specified time period.

This report can be accessed by choosing Reports > Sales

Please note: The Sales Report contains only data for Sales which are datedwithin the specified time period. All data within the Sales report is reported on as per the date of the Sale (including payments).

The date of the sale is literally, the date that is in the sale details. When you create a sale from a reservation it asks you to choose 'Now' or 'Reservation Time'. This can be edited at any time. Changing the reservation within the sale does not affect the date on the sale unless manually changed.

The Sales Report can be filtered by a pre-set or custom time period, as well as by employee:

The top of the report displays some featured figures (explained below):

  • Total Sales
  • Total Revenue
  • Customers
  • Average Ticket

The Graph section shows your Sales totals plotted on a graph for the reporting period.

The figures listed are:

  1. Total Sales: The number of Sales.
  2. *Total Revenue:*The sum of all Sales amounts, whether a payment has been made or not.
  3. *Total Revenue (less credits):*The 'total Revenue' amount minus any payments made with credited revenue (Gift Cards, Customer Credit and Loyalty Points)
  4. *Total Reservation Revenue:*Total revenue derived from Reservations/Services.
  5. *Total Product Revenue:*Total revenue derived from Products.
  6. *Total Pass Revenue:*Total revenue derived from Passes.
  7. *Total Gift Card Revenue:*Total revenue derived from Gift Cards.
  8. *Total Customer Credit Revenue:*Total revenue derived from Customer Credit.
  9. *Total Charges Revenue:*Total revenue derived from Charges.
  10. Total Discounts: Total discounted amount (all Discounts, including Vouchers).
  11. *Total Discounts (Vouchers):*Total Voucher discounts.
  12. *Total Payments:*Total of all Payments, excluding Payments made with Gift Cards, Customer Credit and Loyalty Points.
  13. *Total Payments (Credits):*Total of all Payments made with Gift Cards, Customer Credit and Loyalty Points.
  14. *Total Tax:*Total tax calculated.
  15. *Total Tips:*Total tips collected.
  16. Total Remainder (unpaid): Total amounts unpaid (remainder) for Sales within the specified time period.
  17. Customers: The number of unique Customers.
  18. *Loyalty Points Earned:*Total of Loyalty Points earned.
  19. *Loyalty Points Spent:*Total amount of Loyalty Points used as payments.

Click View sales to view a list of all Sales within the reporting period.

Click Unpaid open sales to view a list of all unpaid (those with an outstanding balance), open Sales within the reporting period.

Click Unpaid closed sales to view a list of all unpaid (those with an outstanding balance), closed Sales within the reporting period.

Click Open sales to view a list of allopen Sales within the reporting period.

Click Possible sale anomalies to view a list of all Sales which have been identified as possibly causing reporting discrepancies. These includes Sales for which the date of the sale does not match date of the Reservation(s) within the Sale.

The sections below show a breakdown of data for specific items.

The data in each section can be exported to a CSV file by clicking the Export to CSVbutton at the top right sales-report-explained

The Servicessection is a breakdown of all revenue generated by each Service.

To print the Sales Report, click Print on the right-hand side of the screen.

This report can be accessed from the Menu by tapping onReporting****> Sales

The Sales Report can be filtered by a pre-set time period, as well as by Employee

To Filter by time period, tap directly on today's date displayed at the top of the screen

You can use the < > arrows to jump to the days before or after today's date

OR

Tap the Calendar icon in the top-right corner for a different date

Then tap on the drop down arrow and select from either Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly to view Reservations data for that time period

PLEASE NOTE: The Sales report in the Web app also allows you to select a custom time frame, see the web app tab of Sales Report Explained

To filter by Employee, tap Employee in the Filters section, which displays your Employee List

Tap on the relevant Employee name to view Sales data for that Employee

The figures listed are:

DATA BREAKDOWN

Data is broken down for Services, Products, Passes, Employees & Charges in the following way; 

Net: price of line item (tax excluded)

Tax: total tax

**Gross:**price of line item + tax

Cost: total cost based on the cost specified for each item

**Wholesale:**wholesale cost of item at time of purchase

Net Profit: Net - Wholesale: what you keep after paying tax and the wholesale cost of the item.

The Servicessection is a breakdown of all revenue generated by each Service

Tap on a Service and then on Sales to view a list of Sales for that Service for the reporting period
