Meet Messages Messages gives you a new, simpler way to stay connected with your customers. Email, SMS and BookApp messages now come together with the customer activity around them, so you have a clearer picture of every conversation.

You may have already noticed the new Messages tab in Ovatu. It replaces the previous messaging flow and is now the place to send and manage messages to your customers.

One familiar conversation Open a customer and see their communication in a familiar chat interface. Booking confirmations, forms, reminders, appointment updates, waitlist activity, direct messages and replies can sit together in one thread.

Instead of searching across different screens, your team can quickly see what has been sent, what a customer has replied to and what might need a follow up.

With Messages, you can:

Send messages by email, SMS and BookApp, where available
Choose the channels that suit the customer and the conversation
Include images and files as attachments to your messages
See messages alongside reminders, forms, appointment updates and waitlist activity
Read customer replies and pick up conversations with the full context in front of you
Keep up with customer messages in the Ovatu web app and mobile app

Send your way Write your message in one place, then choose how it reaches the customer. If they have BookApp installed, you can include BookApp. If not, email or SMS can still be used. And when you need to share something extra, you can attach a photo or file directly to the message, keeping useful details in the conversation.

Keep the conversation going A quick aftercare check in, an appointment question or a follow up after a visit can now be part of the same connected conversation. Your team can see the customer history and continue from where the last message left off, whether they are at the desk or on the move.

Messages is now live in Ovatu. Open the Messages tab in the web or mobile app to see and continue your customer conversations.

Also new: BookApp BookApp is now live for your customers. They can discover businesses, book and manage appointments, and message businesses directly from one simple app.
